7 days left! Governor and AZ Republic say “NO on 200!”
Dear friends and supporters:
We are just one week from Election Day and we have great momentum, but we need your help now more than ever.
More than 150 organizations, 70 elected officials and candidates, 50 faith community leaders, and dozens of credit unions and leading businesspeople across the state have endorsed No on 200!
Just last week, Governor Napolitano announced that voters must reject Prop 200, stating, “In today’s economy, the last thing we need is to force working families further into debt.”
And on Friday, the Arizona Republic became the TENTH newspaper to endorse NO on 200.
We’ve got momentum. Despite their $14 million, this election will be close. And polling shows a majority of voters are still UNDECIDED.
With just 7 days until Election Day, we must push back against their blanket of misleading ads, and make sure voters know the truth.

PS: if you have not yet written a Letter to the Editor, please do so today. Many wonderful letters have already been printed, and this will really help with the final push for those MANY undecided voters.
Remember, our message is simple. So write your letter today!
- 400% interest is NOT reform;
- We should not let the payday lenders write their own laws;
- Prop 200 would let out-of-state payday lenders charge 400% interest rates in Arizona forever;
- To restore a 36% interest cap for all lenders – and TRULY reform payday lending – VOTE NO on 200!
